ADAS Calibration on a Vehicle Lift

Maximize Your 16′ x 30′ Repair Bay

It’s a misconception that ADAS calibration always requires large amounts of floor space. With Autel ADAS system, shigh-profit calibrations can be efficiently completed in standard alignment or mechanical bays, even with the vehicle on a lift. Front-facing camera and radar calibrations require as little as 10 feet in front of the lift, and blind spot warning systems can be calibrated by positioning radar equipment in a neighboring bay.

Considering the importance of proper calibration and maintenance of ADAS safety systems, and the unfamiliarity of this new technology, effectively communicating this information to drivers can be a challenge.

With this in mind, Autel has created an Intro to ADAS countertop tri-fold brochure and companion poster. Download the print-ready marketing kit below and bring to your local printer.

An Important Statement on Autel ADAS Systems

The Dangers of Using Non-Autel ADAS Components with Autel Software

When Autel speaks of our ADAS calibration products, we reference them as systems. And that is because each component is engineered to work as part of the whole. Each component of the system is dependent upon the specificity of the other to produce accurate calibrations that are verifiable to OE specifications.

Further, the Autel ADAS calibration software was developed for our systems only. The use of non-Autel components with our software will result in inaccurate calibrations. It’s vital to understand the precise nature by which these safety systems, cameras and sensors operate. Alignment and calibrations that are off by as little as one degree can result in up to 1.5-meter lateral miscalculations at 100-meter distance between vehicles. Such inaccuracies can lead to false ADAS interventions or accidents.

Shops knowingly calibrating vehicles with mismatched calibration components are fully responsible for calibration errors and will assume liability. Autel technical support staff will not support or assist in any calibration that uses non-Autel branded ADAS calibration products.
