This course provides a structured, hands-on introduction to ADAS calibrations. Designed as a foundational program, it delivers an accelerated, high-impact learning experience that goes beyond the basics. The curriculum covers core concepts, universal terminology, calibration logic, environmental requirements, and setup procedures essential for safe, accurate calibrations.

Note: Registration for each class closes the Friday before the first day of training.

• How ADAS systems work and the purpose behind their design
• How cameras, radar, and sensors function in relation to calibration
• ABest practices for performing accurate static and dynamic calibrations
• Understanding the calibration workflow from scan to completion
• Pre- and post-scan reporting to support repair documentation and compliance
• Environmental setup and shop readiness for consistent calibration success
• The relationship between wheel alignment and calibration accuracy
• Common causes of calibration failure — and how to prevent them
• Hands-on ADAS calibration experience with multiple vehicle setups
• Core ADAS fundamentals that prepare technicians to transition into optical placement using Autel tools

Hotel accommodations are included

If you elect for the hotel accommodations, a 2-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Jacksonville, is included with your reservation. Your booking starts on the night before your first day of training and will be reserved ahead of time by Autel.

Check-in is anytime after 3PM on the day before the first day of training. You will check-out the morning of the second day before you head to the J-Tech Institute.

Hotel Shuttle

A shuttle from the hotel to the J-Tech Institute, and back to the hotel, will be provided. Please meet each morning in the lobby of the hotel at 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM departure.

First Day of Training: Refreshments, snacks, and lunch will be served at the J-Tech Institute training facility, and a hotel dinner voucher is also included.
